Eight Horses Tea Shop.

The biggest and the oldest tea shop in Lijiang, since 1736. It located on the busy intersection at the main entry into the Historic Ancient Village of Lijiang. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. What you see here is only the shop floor, it has many private tasting rooms up stairs where we enjoyed an hour of tasting selected puer and some local green teas. The staff was every knowledgeable and very friendly. In most of China, price is negotiable but when it comes to fine teas, there isn’t much room.
